The Rhino Forum Workshop was an exceptional success with a far greater attendance than originally expected. We had prepared for and expected around 80 people and had over 120 finally participating for some or all of the event.
One of the comments coming out of the workshop at the end was “if we could combine and successfully harvest all of the brain power that was sitting in that room at the time, we should successfully be able to stop all poaching in the region.
It is now the task and goal of those following up thereafter to ensure that we can achieve this to as greater an extent as possible.
As a result, and following all the fantastic information shared during the workshop,
we have put together a questionnaire that will assist us in putting together a cohesive
strategy that is supported by the greater community on how we all work together and
make the most of available resources, skills and technology together with already
established initiatives and processes to create the most effective mechanism possible,
that is supported by the entire community as a whole.
If you are interested in participating
in the questionnaire and putting forward your thoughts and ideas, please fill in
the form below and we will forward the questionnaire to you. (To be completed and
returned before the end of October 2011)
